Frank Rogers, founder and inventor of the Thermion® technology, has been designing and manufacturing Twin Wire Arc Spray systems for over 30 years. Mr. Rogers is currently acting as the CEO of Thermion® and is actively working on our latest patented technology, the Arc Voltage Drive series.

The company was established in 1982 and has enjoyed continual growth as our equipment has evolved into the most reliable High Production Arc Spray Equipment being used today around the world.

The Precision Arc High Deposition Metallizing System, spraying large diameter (3/16", 4.8 mm) wires at 600 amps, has production rates 40% greater than our previous technology. As a result, the cost of metallizing has been significantly reduced and is now being specified more than ever when life cycle cost needs to be minimized.

The AVD technology is developing into the next generation of Thermion® twin wire arc spray equipment, which produces a much more consistent coating by maintaining a near-perfect arc. The Jet Force Gun, which is a closed nozzle system used to produce high-quality, engineered, and wear-resistant coatings, is moving us into new market areas.

In the materials market, our recently patented Thermion® NON-SKID products are receiving worldwide recognition. This thermal spray non-skid material provides corrosion protection of aluminum and extreme wear resistance resulting in many years of service.
